Learn Slow Crochet with Himalayan Artisans

This experience exists to create dignified, home-based livelihoods for mountain women. Visitors receive a beginner-friendly crochet lesson, learning basic stitches and how to read patterns—empowering them to create their own pieces while supporting slow craft, fair incomes and shared learning.

4 years of experience
I’m Ridhi, founder of Baini, a women-led initiative from the Himalayan villages around Nainital. I work with local women to build home-based livelihoods through fibre crafts. Hosting this experience lets me share their skills, stories, and everyday resilience with visitors—slowly and sustainably.
